Live wedding painter in Luxembourg

A live painting created in front of your guests while your wedding unfolds — a real, finished piece you take home at the end of the night, not just a memory of the day.

How a live wedding painting works

From set-up to a finished piece, over the course of your wedding

Most wedding details fade into photos and memories. A live painting is different: it's a real canvas, painted while your wedding happens around it, that still exists on your wall years later.

  • Before your guests arrive

    Set-Up at Your Venue

I arrive before your guests and set up quietly, usually to one side of the reception space — never in the middle of the room, never in the way of the ceremony or the speeches. Canvas, easel and paints are ready before the first guest walks in, so there's nothing to manage on your side once the day starts.

  • During the reception

    Painting Throughout the Reception

As your reception moves through dinner, toasts and dancing, I keep working on the canvas in the background. There's no announcement and no interruption to your schedule — guests simply notice the painting taking shape over the course of the evening, and many enjoy checking on its progress between courses or during a lull on the dance floor.

  • By the end of the night

    A Finished Painting

By the time your wedding winds down, the canvas is complete. You're not left waiting weeks for a delivery or a "finishing touches" period — what you see at the end of the night is the finished piece, ready to be framed once you're back from the honeymoon.

What can be painted at your wedding

The subject is entirely up to you

Some couples want the painting tied directly to the wedding. Others prefer something completely separate. Both are equally common, and both are agreed together before the day.

Tied to your wedding

The venue, a detail from the ceremony, or the two of you together — a piece that captures something specific about the day itself.

Something entirely separate

A place that means something to you, a shared interest, or an idea with no connection to the wedding at all — simply created live as part of the celebration.

Whatever you choose, it's agreed together before the wedding, so there's no guesswork on the day — I'll already know exactly what I'm painting when I arrive.

Live wedding painting pricing in Luxembourg

No fixed price list — every wedding is quoted individually

Wall size isn't the variable here — the length of your reception, the canvas size and travel to your venue are what shape the cost, and every wedding is different enough that a catalogue price wouldn't be honest.

Sending your wedding date, venue and rough guest numbers is enough to get a clear, personal quote within a few days — no obligation, no pressure to book on the spot.

How to book a live wedding painter

Three steps, agreed well before your wedding day

  1. Check Your Date

Only one wedding is booked per date, so the earliest step is simply confirming I'm free on yours. This matters most during peak wedding season, when dates get taken months in advance.

  2. Confirm the Details

Once the date is set, we agree on canvas size, arrival time, and what will be painted. This is also when travel and any venue-specific setup needs get worked out, so there are no surprises for your venue coordinator on the day.

  3. Meet Your Artist on the Day

I arrive ahead of your guests, set up discreetly, and paint throughout your reception. You won't need to manage anything on the day itself — just enjoy your wedding, and the painting takes care of itself alongside it.

Spanish mural artist, based between Trier & Luxembourg

I'm Dani Delgado, a Spanish mural artist with six years of professional experience. Most of my work as a muralist happens in public, in front of people who stop to watch — so painting quietly among your guests on your wedding day isn't a new kind of pressure for me, it's simply a smaller room.

I'm also studying Business Administration, which shows up in how I run bookings: a clear proposal before the date is confirmed, a plan for the venue agreed in advance, and nothing left to figure out on the day of your wedding.

Frequently asked questions

About live wedding painting

How far in advance should I book a wedding painter?

As early as possible, ideally as soon as your venue and date are confirmed. Only one wedding is taken per date, and popular months fill up quickly.

Does the painting have to show the ceremony or first dance?

No. Some couples do choose a moment from the day, but plenty prefer something unrelated to the wedding entirely. It's entirely up to you, and we agree on it together beforehand.

What size canvas do you offer?

Canvas size is discussed as part of your quote, based on where you plan to display the finished piece and the length of your reception. Larger canvases need more painting time.

Can the painting be a surprise for my partner?

Yes — this is a common request. If you'd like your partner to see the painting only when it's finished, just let me know when booking so I can plan the setup accordingly.
