I started at sixteen, painting graffiti, wanting something legal and calm — without having to keep one eye out for the police. It took a year of asking before my village, in the province of Burgos, gave me a wall. That first big mural was the beginning of everything.
After that I went door to door, small business by small business, asking if anyone would pay me — even just enough to cover the paint. Some said yes. Getting to make a living from this at all, even for next to nothing, already felt like a win.
Portraits came later, almost as a dare. I used to see realistic portrait painters as something close to superhuman — completely out of reach. A good teacher proved me wrong. I still don't feel like I'm all the way there — I'm still learning, still pushing.
I've been doing this professionally since 2022. In summer 2025 I painted a commissioned mural at a country house in the Sierra de Cazorla (Jaén) — good enough work that it covered a trip there with two friends, costs included. Spring 2026 brought something bigger: two weeks in Aruba, six months in the planning, painting a mural that felt like a real step up — not just in scale, but in how seriously the work was taken.
Right now I'm in the middle of a shift: from murals toward oil paintings, and from painting alone toward painting live — in bars, restaurants, at events, quietly in a corner while people go on with their evening. I already have live painting experience through murals, exhibitions, and workshops with kids and adults alike. I'd like to bring that same energy to canvases, in somewhat more polished settings. I adapt to whatever each place calls for — a suit if the occasion needs it, something more relaxed if it doesn't.
This October I'm moving to Germany, to study in Trier — though honestly, it's less about the degree and more about wanting to live somewhere new and see what happens. I'm still painting, still looking for walls and canvases, and still open to work in Luxembourg and the surrounding region, as well as Germany and Spain.
